TRAIL STEWARDSHIP
Friends of Sausal Creek is working to enhance the ecological value of upland, riparian, and aquatic habitats along existing trails within the Sausal Creek Watershed.

Trail stewardship workdays address hydrology and erosion issues and improve habitat areas adjacent to trails. Of particular importance, these habitat improvements help maintain high quality spawning, rearing, and over-summer pool habitat for regionally rare rainbow trout in Sausal Creek.
The crew usually works on the last Sunday of each month from 10 am - 1 pm; check the event calendar for workday details. No commitment required—come lend a hand when you can!
Please wear sturdy shoes, long pants, layers, and bring a water bottle. All tools and instruction will be provided. Youth under 15 should be accompanied by an adult.
