Friends of Sausal Creek is working to enhance the ecological value of upland, riparian, and aquatic habitats along existing trails within the Sausal Creek Watershed. Trail stewardship workdays address hydrology and erosion issues and improve habitat areas adjacent to trails. Of particular importance, these habitat improvements help maintain high quality spawning, rearing, and over-summer pool habitat for regionally rare rainbow trout in Sausal Creek.
