30th Anniversary
Summer Sausal Creek Fair
Saturday July 25, 11 a.m. - 2 p.m.
This year marks three decades of protecting Sausal Creek!
To celebrate, we're hosting a free creek-side fair for all ages. The event will bring together the volunteers, neighbors, and community members who have shaped our watershed over the years, and we invite new friends to join us. Bring a picnic, or stop by a local Dimond District food spot on your way; we’ll bring the cake.

11-11:30 a.m. - Grounding Circle
11:30 a.m. - 12:30 p.m. - Live Raptor Presentation by Native Bird Connections
12:30 - 1 p.m. - Watershed Appreciation Ceremony and Cake Cutting
1:00 - 2:00 p.m. - Live Music by Mostly Marys

The Activities
Custom block printing: Local artist Simone Lassar will lead a block printing activity using custom native plant designs. Bring your own t-shirt, tote, or tea-towel to print, or we'll have some on hand! *Items must be natural fiber
Cyanotypes: Create a sun-printed bandana with plant materials.
Creekside Fun: Play a game of cornhole, stop by the face painting station, take a walk through our FOSC timeline, or test your Sausal Creek trivia with a round of BINGO

FAIR LOCATION IN DIMOND PARK
The fair will be held at the Sequoia Grove Picnic Areas in Dimond Park, in the large grassy area adjacent to the tennis courts. Enter via Lyman Rd. & Fruitvale Ave., Dimond Ave, or Wellington St. and look for fair signage. Limited street parking available; walking or public transportation encouraged. Nearby bus stops include Park Blvd & Everett Ave, MacArthur Blvd & Fruitvale Ave; Chatham Rd & Park Blvd.
